Recreation Coordinator
• Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation
• Completion of a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP)
• Strong knowledge of community integration, mental health and gerontology preferred
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Standard First Aid & CPR C/AED
• WHMIS and Food Safe Level 1 certifications
• Serving It Right certificate
• Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum (PVPC)
Recreation Assistant
• Completion of a Recreation Assistant program from a recognized institution
• Completion of a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP)
• Previous experience in a recreation therapy setting, preferred
• Strong knowledge of community integration, mental health and gerontology preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and skills
• Standard First Aid & CPR C/AED
